MANDATORY CAMPING

MANDATORY 3 NIGHT CAMPING FEE – $60

This fee covers 3 nights camping (Thurs – Sun nights) on an unpowered site at Lakeside Camping, Lake Towerrinning, Moodiarrup and the use of the private property and facilities (showers, toilets, laundry, camp kitchen etc) that Birdy’s Backyard Ultra is held on.

This fee is payable even if you don’t plan to camp.

You can also upgrade to a powered site during the registration process for an additional $30 over the 3 nights.

ENTRY PROCESS

Entries open Wednesday 7th August 2024, 18:00 AWST and close Sunday 3rd August, 2024, 23:59 AWST.

We are capped at 200 runners due to site licensing restrictions.

No refunds are available for this event, however a buy/swap/sell page on Facebook, will allow you options.

Each runner must book the minimum 3 nights (Thurs – Sat) camping option, selecting powered or non-powered sites in addition to each entry.

QUALIFICATION

Birdy’s Backyard doesn’t have any qualification requirements, however please do not take the fatigue and conditions for granted. It is expected that you will train appropriately for the event you are entered into.

AID STATIONS

There will be a full service, manned aid station at the transition area, near the start line for every lap for the first 24 hours.

The aid station will provide the following:

Water
Fresh Seasonal Fruit
Lollies
Coke
BIX Hydration
Crisps

Please BYO Cup or Hydration Vessel if you wish to utilise drinks from the aid station.

Runners are also able to set-up their own table with their own supplies in the designated areas.

VOLUNTEERS

We absolutely rely on a great bunch of volunteers to help bring this event together. Please consider helping out so that we can help people achieve their goals of crossing that finish line. If you would like to help out at Birdy’s, please fill in the form on the website.

Your contribution will go towards our volunteer incentive where you will receive 20% race entry discount (can be accrued) to any of our Ultra Series events nationwide.

REFUND POLICY

Refunds are not available for a Birdy’s entry. You may choose to sell/swap your entry through the buy/swap/sell page on Facebook. Click here

Alternatively, you can transfer your entry to a mate and avoid any admin fee. You can do this through logging into your entry (via link received upon registration confirmation email) and transferring over. You will need to sort reimbursement between yourselves and this option is only applicable up until entries close.
